Trauma & Crime Scene Technician
Course Fee includes: Instruction and course manual
This 2-day virtual Trauma and Crime Scene Technician course was designed to prepare you for trauma scenes and bio-hazardous decontamination and clean up. It is designed to train you mentally and physically how to deal with a trauma scene in a professional, caring manner in accordance with the outlined standards and guidelines available today. Attendees will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required to properly evaluate, clean and decontaminate a site following a human trauma event. Learn how to manage the unique situations encountered when performing trauma and crime scene services based on the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard. Learn how to inspect and investigate potentially infectious materials and establish hazard assessments, work plans, and procedures for cleaning and safe transportation of contaminated material.
Does your company deal with or plan on performing any trauma scene cleanup? If so, are you properly trained? This class is to allow workers to become aware of the risks involved with the contact of body fluids using controls to minimize and eliminate potential risks.
